Horseback Riding Lessons at Denim Creek Ranch

Whether you’re just starting out or building your confidence in the saddle, our lessons are designed to meet you where you’re at. With gentle, experienced horses and a relaxed teaching style, we create a supportive space for every rider — young or old!

Beginner Lessons

Ideal for brand-new riders learning ground handling, grooming, leading, saddling, mounting/dismounting, and basic walk/trot.

  • 40-minute lesson at my home facility

  • Learn to confidently work with horses on the ground and in the saddle

Pricing (per week):
• $65 for 1 lesson/week
• $115 for 2 lessons/week
• $165 for 3 lessons/week

Each additional weekly lesson is $50

Must know how to halter, saddle, and control the horse at a walk/trot.

  • Focus on body control, leg riding, basic patterns (barrels if interested), and obstacles

  • Lessons may rotate between locations (additional facility fees may apply)

• $75 for 1 lesson/week
• $135 for 2 lessons/week
• $195 for 3 lessons/week

Each additional weekly lesson is $60

 

Students must demonstrate control and skill at an intermediate level.

  • Focus on fine-tuning patterns, independence, and higher-level obstacles

Pricing (per week):
• $55 for 1 lesson/week
• $95 for 2 lessons/week
• $125 for 3 lessons/week

Each additional weekly lesson is $40

Independent ride time (parent-monitored) without direct instruction.

  • Must maintain at least 1 lesson/week

  • Max: 3 practice rides per 1 lesson

Pricing (per week):
• $40 for 1 ride/week
• $75 for 2 rides/week
• $100 for 3 rides/week

Each additional weekly lesson is $30

Adult Lessons

  • Pricing (per week):
    • $75 for 1 ride/week
    • $140 for 2 rides/week
    • $200 for 3 rides/week

    Each additional weekly lesson is $60

  • Sundays from 5:00–6:00, 6:00-7:00, 7:00-8:00 PM 

  • Summer hours (May- September) 6:00–7:00, 7:00-8:00, 8:00-9:00 PM 

  • 2 instructors, 3–6 horses depending on number of riders

  • Group learning, games, and teamwork

  • Note: Months with 5 Sundays will still include 4 lessons

  • $25 deposit required to reserve a spot
  • Lil’ Creek Trotters (5 and under): $100/mo
  • Junior Saddle Club (6-15yo): $125/ mo
  • Pink Pony Club (16+yo): $165/ mo

Available for intermediate and advanced riders.

  • $80 out-of-house

  • $100-150+ trailered to location

Once students can complete patterns, follow instructions, and ride independently 4 days a week, they may qualify to participate in races or events.

  • 1 ride per week must be a lesson

  • Must ride 4x a week (event days can count)

  • Monthly grade checks required (B average minimum)

  • 1 outside trainer lesson required per month

• $25 mount fee per race/event
• $650/month “Unlimited” plan (ride and race as much as you want)

  • 20-minute mini lesson with a pre-saddled horse

  • Includes brushing another horse

  • Great for little ones who can sit up unassisted

Price: $30

7 years and under

  • $50 / ground lessons

  • $85 / lesson with dummy horse sled sessions

  • $85 / lesson 

  • $10 Discount if doing more than one lesson per week

  • $150 for show days plus mileage if over 50 miles
